Joint Health and Safety Training course - Part 2

This program is designed to help workplaces meet their legal responsibility to provide the first phase of Certification training to members of joint health and safety committees in Ontario. This program, critical to securing safer, healthier work, is applicable to workplaces in all sectors.

About the Event

**Completion of Part 1 is a requirement. Do not register if you have not completed the previous course.**

**Please note, the cost of this course is covered by the OBCT; if you need financial support to take part in this course, it is available through OBCT**

This program is designed to help workplaces meet their legal responsibility to provide the first phase of Certification training to members of joint health and safety committees in Ontario. This program, critical to securing safer, healthier work, is applicable to workplaces in all sectors.

Delivered over a three-day period, Joint Health and Safety Training Part Two, builds on what you've learned in Part One and is the final step to becoming a certified member of a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). Committee members become certified after completing BOTH Part One and Part Two training.

Training will be hosted in-person at the SMWIA Local 30 Training Centre, in Scarborough, ON.  If you have questions, please email info@obctradeswomen.com or kate.walsh@ontariobuildingtrades.com.
