Heather Ferguson

Licensed Millwright, Outreach Specialist and Strategic Initiative for the Millwright Regional Council - Canada

Heather Ferguson first joined the Millwrights Local 1410 in 2012 as the only tradeswoman. She became a licensed Journeyperson Millwright in 2019 and joined the executive for Local 1410. In 2022, Heather was appointed as the Business Representative of Local 1410. She currently works for the Millwright Regional Council of Canada in an Outreach Specialist and Strategic Initiative role, reaching out to schools and other organizations to build the Millwright Union membership.

Heather thoroughly enjoys mentoring and inspiring young people by showing that you can have a quality family life and still be in the Millwright Union. Heather has always strived to do her best and believes you can do anything you set your mind to!
