Mental Health First Aid Standard Virtual
Participants will learn and practice social interactive skills and develop confidence in personal abilities to help themselves and others while on and off the job. Mental Health First Aid Canada is an evidence-based program of The Mental Health Commission of Canada.

About the Event
This training takes place over TWO (2) days: Saturday, December 12th & Sunday, December 13th (2 hours of self directed learning followed by 6 hours of virtual classroom learning. 3 hours of virtual class time each of the two days, attendance for the full 6 hours is required, a missed day cannot be made up by joining another session).
Note: Participants must complete a 2-hour self-directed Module by Friday, December 11 at 5:00pm to be allowed access to the virtual classroom.
This is the second training event in our Mental Health First Aid Training series, which will provide valuable information on how to unpack the stigma surrounding mental health. Participants will learn and practice social interactive skills and develop confidence in personal abilities to help themselves and others while on and off the job!
