The instructor for this course is Jennifer Mossop, whose razor sharp insights coupled with a warm and compelling style won her devoted viewers as a veteran journalist. That solid reputation won her a seat in provincial legislature. And, her ability to instantly grasp a vast range of complex  issues and communicate them with confidence and clarity, immediately, won her several key posts in government. Now she is a coveted strategist, advisor, coach, trainer, writer and producer for those who want to inspire and influence. Jennifer has the rare insight borne of having experienced life from both sides of the microphone. After spending more than two decades working in TV, radio and print journalism, Jennifer became the Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Stoney Creek. She was immediately appointed as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Culture and Vice Chair of the Cabinet Committee on Communications. She also served on the Education Policy Cabinet Committee, the Standing Committees on Justice and Legislative Assembly, and as Chair of the South Central Caucus. Jennifer became a household name in the Golden Horseshoe as a reporter, producer and principal anchor with CHCH.  She later joined CBC Television News as an anchor and writer. She  produces documentaries, shows, and videos, including a successful travel series and contributions to the Discovery Channel. As a columnist for the Hamilton Spectator, she analyzed the media and won the Reader's Choice Awards for a special series on the humourous journey to motherhood, over forty. She was a special contributor to the Toronto Sun's election coverage.
