Teri-Anna is a 5th-term Electrician Apprentice with IBEW Local 353 who is dedicated to mastering her trade and gaining diverse experience across various sectors. She understands that well-rounded electricians are continuously learning and adapting to different environments, an essential skill for providing effective mentorship to future apprentices.
Passionate about workplace health and safety, Teri-Anna advocates for safe working conditions in the trades. She is also a strong supporter of women in trades, navigating the unique trials and tribulations of being a woman in a male-dominated industry. Through her involvement in various committees, she promotes inclusivity and creates supportive networks, emphasizing how skilled trades are a viable and rewarding career option for all.
In addition to her advocacy work, Teri-Anna is committed to educating parents and schools about the numerous opportunities available in the skilled trades. She highlights the importance of transferable skills and building confidence in young people as they consider career paths.
