Women in Skilled Trades Peer Mentorship Group

Each month HIEC will bring women working in the skilled trades together virtually through conversation and connection. During the mentorship sessions, they will highlight speakers, facilitate panels, and offer breakout rooms for one on one connection and mentorship.

The event series is facilitated by Welding Technologist and Instructor Nicole LeClair and the team, and this group is for anyone who identifies as a woman who is learning/working in the skilled trade sector or thinking about starting a career in the skilled trades.

In December, they will be introducing the Women in Skilled Trades Peer Mentorship Group, discussing the findings of a recent survey highlighting the experiences of women in the trades, and making time for some personal connections between attendees

The first event will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 6:30-8:00 pm via Zoom.
